You’ve got the barre chord thing mastered, you can play some blues licks, and maybe even learned some difficult songs like ‘Stairway to Heaven’ or ‘Hotel California’.
Let’s keep that going, I have a huge repertoire of note-for-note guitar solos transcribed by artists like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and more. I also have software that can slow down the solos to make learning the really tricky parts easier, it will also adjust the pitch so you can play along to recordings that are not in standard tuning.
Many students have their hands on top of playing these types of solos already, but don’t necessarily understand what the player was thinking when they approached the material. We can also sit and break down why Hendrix seemingly randomly plays the C#m pentatonic scale in the middle of ‘The Wind Cries Mary’, which is in the key of F ;)
